Alderstone Water Company works Crestwood as its own Oldham County town, not a Louisville page with the name swapped. The map that matters starts downtown, where KY 22 meets KY 146. That grid is still a short-lot, main-street Crestwood: older service, city water, compact baths. Drive toward La Grange Road and the housing changes. Williamsgate, Grand Oaks, and Kentucky Acres are newer subdivisions with extra baths and extra fixtures. Scale shows up on chrome that is barely a year old.
Farther out, Heritage Place, Abbott Lane, and Floydsburg-side acre lanes mix city meters with private wells. If your lane is on a well and you see grit at a tap, say so. We will not diagnose a well from this page. Sediment is a filtration conversation. Scale is not.
Oldham County school traffic uses those same two highways every morning. We use them as a service map, not a county-wide blur. The KY 329 bypass strip and the new commercial edge are wayfinding. The houses behind them still split three ways: downtown city lots, La Grange Road subdivisions, outer wells.
Those complaints are why Crestwood calls. They are not one machine.
- A Crestwood whole-home filter treats taste, odor, and sediment at every tap, including showers and laundry.
- A Crestwood water softener is the scale, spots, and soap job.
- Crestwood reverse osmosis is drinking water at a kitchen faucet. It does not treat the shower.
We are not Louisville Water Company, the utility. City water is treated and regulated. Comfort at the tap is the reason to call.
