A whole-home filter treats Middletown water where it enters the house. That is every tap: the shower in a Main Street Historic District cottage, the laundry in a 1990s–2010s subdivision off Shelbyville Road and I-265, the ice maker on the Lake Forest edge. It is not a fridge cartridge.
The complaint that belongs on this page is taste, odor, and sediment through the whole house. East End city water is treated.
